
Japanese company Mugen has confirmed it has entered TT Zero.
The firm has a long association with motorsport and was founded in 1973 by Hirotoshi Honda.
Mugen, which translates as 'without limit', had an early association with Formula One and won four races between 1992 and 2000, working with teams such as Jordan, Prost, Ligier and Lotus.
It has recently been announced as the engine partner to Honda for the forthcoming World Touring Car Championship.
Mugen has not announced any riders for TT 2012.
