Island athletics star heading for Denmark
David Mullarkey has been selected by Team Great Britain for the World Athletics Road Running Championships in Denmark.
The Island athlete will travel to Copenhagen for the event which takes place from 19-20 September.
Mullarkey will compete in the men's 5k race.
He recently represented GB at the 2026 European Championships where he finished 12th in the 10,000m.
In July, Mullarkey won a bronze medal for the Isle of Man at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
