Manxman sustained back fracture and broken femur in incident
Nathan Harrison has undergone surgery after sustaining a fracture in his back and broken femur while competing in the British Superstock Championship.
The Manx rider was struck by another competitor on Saturday on the opening lap at Donington Park.
In an update on social media, Harrison says the incident came as a shock and that he's really upset that what has been the best season of his career had to end this way through no fault of his own.
He also thanked the medics and marshals for their work, and sent his best wishes to Callum Grigor, who was placed in an induced coma following the incident.
