Teams met in opener of Europe Netball U21 Championships on Island
The Europe Netball U21's Championships is underway on the Isle of Man, but it's been a tough afternoon for the Manx squad.
The Island side went down 111-14 against a highly-skilled England in the opening fixture this afternoon (12 November) at the NSC.
They'll be hoping to bounce back when they take on Wales in their next fixture at Noon tomorrow (13 November) - the tournament is taking place right through until Sunday.
Captain Alice Cross reflected on the game with Rhian Evans:
Meanwhile, the Manx Rams senior squad will be taking on the Wales senior team in the first of three open test matches tonight, that's due to start at 6pm.
Wales are expected to pose a big challenge and are currently ranked ninth in the world netball rankings.
