
Onchan Football Club could have a new home at Blackberry Lane within 18 months.
Although the club has no plans to end its long established link with the Nivison Stadium in Onchan Park, the pitch there is only available for six months of the year.
Club president and Onchan MHK David Quirk says, with junior and senior football thriving, the club needs two pitches.
He says comments received on the plan have been encouraging:
