Senior Race shortened as part of revised programme
The 2024 Senior TT Race has been shortened as part of a new-look race schedule for Friday and Saturday (7 & 8 June).
Tomorrow (7 June), the Mountain Road section of the TT course will close at 9am with all other roads around the course shutting at 10am.
A solo warm-up lap at 10.30am will be following by the Supersport TT Race 2 at 11.45am which has now been restored to a four-lap contest.
After that will be the Superstock TT Race 2 - over three laps - at 3.30pm.
Roads around the course will reopen no later than 9.30pm.
Meanwhile on Saturday (8 June), the Mountain Road section will close at 9am and all other roads on the course at 10am.
There will be a solo warm-up lap at 10.30am before the Supertwin TT Race 2 at 11.45am which has been reduced to two laps.
The Rutter Legacy Lap will then be held at 1.30pm followed by the Senior TT Race which is now down to four laps instead of six.
