Derek Nicholson has resigned as President of Southern 100 Racing.
He has held the honorary position since 2002 and has been a director of the organisation from 1984, including a spell as Chairman.
Despite stepping aside, Derek still intends to keep a close eye on the annual proceedings in and around the Billown Circuit.
The Club is expressing it's thanks to Derek and his wife Shirley for all their efforts and wishes them a happy and healthy retirement.
The position of President will be discussed by Committee members over the coming weeks.
