The emotional scenes as Nick Crowe walked through the door at a fundraiser for him and Mark Cox last week have been described to Manx Radio by the Isle of Man TT Marshals Association's Terry Holmes.
He went over for the event in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, which was organised by one of Nick's sponsors, Dave Hudspeth and his wife.
It was a sell-out crowd and many fellow riders, including HM Plant team mates John McGuinness and Steve Plater, turned up to add their support.
Terry told Edward Oldham Nick's appearance caused quite a stir: (play attached clip)
You can hear more of that interview, including news of Nick's plans to get back to the Island and how Mark Cox is doing, on Mandate tomorrow morning from 7.30.
