
Division Two leaders Castletown progressed to the GH Corlett Woods Cup quarter-finals by overcoming Braddan comprehensively on Saturday.
Goals from Alex Crawley (two), Steve Wade and Tony Duggan secured a 4-0 success and a tie of the round at Marown after they defeated the Police 4-2.
Kenny McGee hit two and was joined on the scoresheet by Phil Jones and Paul Bratty with Darren Loader scoring both for the Police in the second half.
St John’s saw off battling Ronaldsway 5-1 down south, courtesy of goals from Callum Taggart, Nick Ford, Andy Chadwick, Mike Peace and Anthony Moore.
Aaron Maddox netted for the Rockets.
They’ll now host Onchan who were 3-1 winners over battling Northern Athletic.
Phil Cain, Neil Cain and Jonathan Bradley were the Onchan scorers.
Douglas Royal showed their ability with a 3-2 win at Douglas Royal.
Conzarlo Garneshell, Sean Valetine, and Craig Dolman were their scorers as Royal booked a quarter-final trip to Malew.
Royal led 3-0 at one stage and, although Youth Centre fought back with a Martin Murphy brace, they couldn’t force extra-time.
