
The 80th North West 200 road race meeting opens this evening (Tuesday) with the first practice session.
Roads around the Triangle circuit in Northern Ireland close at five o'clock with conditions set to be dry.
Leading the Manx challenge will be Conor Cummins riding for the local McAdoo Kawasaki team.
Many of the stars for T.T. 2009 will be in action - John McGuinness, Steve Plater, Cameron Donald, Bruce Anstey, Adrian Archibald, Ian Lougher, Michael Rutter, Ian Hutchinson, Ryan Farquhar, Guy Martin and Keith Amor to name but a few.
In association with BBC Northern Ireland, Manx Radio will have commentary from the North West 200 races this coming Saturday.
