Sara takes ladies title
Orran Smith from the Western Athletics Club was a convincing winner of the Manx Mountain Marathon on Saturday.
He completed the 55.5 km course from Ramsey to Port Erin in 5 hours, 20 minutes and 28 seconds.
Smith was just under 7 minutes ahead of runner-up Tom Gibbs from Ambleside with Manx Fell Runner Ian Gale home in third.
Sara Al-Kadhimi was the women's winner in a time of 6 hours, 23 minutes and 29 seconds with locals Rosy Craine and Eleanor Miklos completing the podium.
Nick Corburn and Alice Forster were the victors over the half distance.
