MT reveals changes for 2019
A new video service, an improved clock and matrix display at the finish line, and a new mobile phone app are all set to be in place for the 2019 Manx Telecom Parish Walk.
The changes have been announced at the official launch of the 2019 event, which took place at MT's headquarters this lunchtime.
Organisers are aiming to provide video clips of every person who finishes the full 85-mile route, as they cross the line on Douglas promenade.
Online results for each of those finishers will be linked to the video content on YouTube.
The aim of the new app will be to make it easier for friends, families and supporters of competitors to follow the race on their mobile phones.
