The Liberal Vannin Party has begun selecting people it would like to stand for the House of Keys in next year's general election.
The party’s selection committee started selecting would-be candidates on Friday.
In a statement, the LVP says it was the first of many such meetings planned over the next month to interview prospective parliamentary candidates from a list of interested members.
Those wishing to stand will need to be confirmed by the party's executive committee.
After that, the candidates, and the constituencies they will be standing in, will be made public.
