Paul Bird, the owner of the Paul Bird Motorsport team (PBM), has died at the age of 56.
His team has announced today (1 September) Mr Bird has died following a short time in hospital with illness.
Paul's family are requesting privacy at this time.
The Cumbrian businessman and motorsport team owner has many links with the Isle of Man TT having run riders such as John McGuinness.
