Westerners beat Corinthians in final
Peel beat Corinthians 3-0 to win the Nedbank Women's FA Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The westerners took the lead at The Bowl just before half-time through Sarah Taylor who scored after being put through by an Eleanor Gawne pass.
Early in the second half, the advantage was doubled with Becky Corkish finding the net after a fumble by the Corinthians keeper.
The match was settled in the 65th minute when Ellen Cleator picked out Sarah Taylor to bag her second of the contest.
Peel have been runners-up in this competition for the past two years and still have a chance of winning the league.
