13-time winner was withdrawn from last BSB round as a precaution
Peter Hickman says a recent injury to his hand is 'not ideal' but it isn't affecting his riding in the opening sessions of the Isle of Man TT Races.
Ahead of the racing fortnight the 13-time winner and outright lap record holder on the Snaefell Mountain Course was withdrawn from the previous BSB round at Donington Park as a precaution.
At the time his team FHO Racing says the move was because the rider 'strained his hand' after a 'near-crash' in an FP2 session.
However, Hickman himself says whilst he's having to manage the pain he's 'absolutely fine' when it comes to using his machinery:
