Director calls it 'fantastic opportunity' to support local football
Estate agent and property management firm, Plum Properties has been named as the new sponsor for one of the Isle of Man's cup football competitions.
The company has been announced as the latest sponsor of the Railway Cup for the current season.
Having first been presented to the Isle of Man FA in 1905, it's current format - adopted in 1936 - sees the top four sides in the Isle of Man men's premier league at the halfway stage of the season compete in two semi-finals followed by a final to try and win the silverware.
Plum Properties Director, Jonathan Leece, has described this move as 'a fantastic opportunity to support local football'.
Meanwhile, Interim CEO of the Isle of Man FA, Lewis Qualtrough, says they're 'absolutely delighted' with the organisation offering their support to the competition.
