The 2014 Tour de France could offer as many as nine bunch sprint finish opportunities.
That's good news for Isle of Man cycling superstar Mark Cavendish who currently has 25 stage victories making him the third most successful ever at the event.
The Manx Missile will be particularly keen to win the opening stage which starts in Leeds.
It finishes on the flat in Harrogate, the home town of his mother.
And it would also put him in the famous leaders yellow jersey after missing out this year:
