Event aiming to be gateway for athletes to compete internationally
The 2023 Manx Powerlifting Championships will be held later this year in Castletown, it's been announced.
The event will take place at Evolution Fitness IoM at Mannanan House on 2-3 September.
Manx Powerlifting says Isle of Man competitors aiming to represent the Island on international level in the sport must to take part in this competition to be considered.
These could include consideration for the 2023 Home Nations Championship in Belfast as well as stage one of qualification for the IoM Commonwealth Powerlifting Championship squad aiming to compete in South Africa in 2024.
