Lindsay and Skillicorn also take wins during meeting in Birmingham
Manx powerlifters have secured a new best points haul at the Home Nations Powerlifting Championship after competing in this year's event last weekend.
During the meeting at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham on Saturday, 1 November, the Manx Powerlifting squad accrued 780.3 points across the respective events.
This surpasses the 679.18 points they managed at the same meeting in 2024.
Among the 11 individuals representing the Isle of Man side, the most notable displays came from Teagan Lindsay and Thomas Skillicorn who won their respective categories.
Elsewhere, in the women's section, Katie Lovelady and Alyson Egan finished third and fourth respectively in class; Elizabeth Young and Kerry Lindsay sixth and seventh respectively in theirs, and separately Jo-Ann Corr finished seventh in the her competition.
Meanwhile the other results in the men's tournaments saw Kail De Los Reyes manage a third place finish; Morgan Howard-Browne and Bailey Hotchkiss involved in the same class take fifth and sixth place respectively with Michael Kelly elsewhere securing a fifth spot.
