12-strong squad heading to New Zealand in November
The Isle of Man is set to be represented at a major international powerlifting event later this year.
A 12-strong squad will represent the Island at the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships, which take place in Auckland, New Zealand from 28 November to 4 December.
Those travelling next month will compete across a wide variety of different categories, ranging from junior to masters classes.
This venture will be the first time the Isle of Man has put forward an international powerlifting team.
