Club says rearranged fixture with FC Isle of Man posed 'genuine concerns regarding player welfare'
FC Isle of Man's opponents from Saturday have apologised after not attending a rearranged fixture with the Ravens.
The Manx side's match against Prestwich Heys was abandoned on Saturday evening due to the weather conditions, and rescheduled for the following day.
The match was cancelled on Sunday morning after the visitors failed to attend the Bowl.
Prestwich Heys says the club informed FC Isle of Man and the league on Saturday evening that it would not be able to fulfil the fixture on Sunday due to injuries, travel constraints and 'genuine concerns regarding player welfare'.
The club says it apologises to FC Isle of Man, the league and supporters for any inconvenience caused.
