The Primary Schools International Table Tennis Tournament, due to take place at the NSC in April has been called off.
It follows the withdrawal of visitors from Guernsey, Jersey and Ireland.
The association says for the time being it will continue to hold regional table tennis training for the Manx Youth Games, but will review this should school closures come into effect.
For the time being table tennis league fixtures at the NSC are scheduled to continue.
