Three teams in with a chance of winning the title
Victory for Bacchas A this weekend sees them top the pile in the PwC Women's Premier League, despite them not being one of three teams still in with a chance of winning the title.
The Cronkbourne side are at the summit on goal difference, however, they have now played all of their matches and are one of four teams on eight points.
Two goals from Sam Hassall helped Bacchas A to a 3-2 win over Valkyrs A on Saturday, which meant the westerners dropped down one place to third.
Vikings A thrashed Castletown A 7-3 and will need to continue that goalscoring form if they are to lift the title in their next week in their last match of the campaign.
In the final round of fixtures, Valkyrs A and Castletown A meet in a midweek crunch clash at the top on Tuesday.
A winner in that match would move two points clear at the top before Vikings A play bottom side Ramsey A on the final day of the season on 23 March.
Defending champions Vikings are already two goals shy of their challengers but will know before they push back just how many goals they need to score to clinch the league crown.
