Goalkeeper selected for Wolves friendly
Matthew Quirk has spoken of the honour of being called up to the Isle of Man senior men's football team.
Manager Paul Jones has selected the goalkeeper for the forthcoming friendly away against Wolverhampton Wanderers Under-23s side.
His selection also makes Quirk the first ever Douglas Athletic player to be named in a senior national squad.
He says it represents just how far the Springfield Road club have come in a short space of time:
The match against Wolves will take place on 23 October, with many viewing it as preparation for an inter-island tournament in Anglesy next year.
