Rachael Franklin - 2022 Games preparation 'going really well'

She's part of seven-strong athletics team heading to Birmingham

Manx athlete Rachael Franklin says her preparations for the 2022 Commonwealth Games have been 'going really well'.

She will be part of the seven-strong athletics squad heading to Birmingham for the games taking place from 28 July to 8 August.

Franklin, alongside Island teammate Sarah Webster, completed several laps for the Queen's Baton Relay around the NSC athletics track today with children from the Island's primary schools.

Rachael says she's always proud to be part of the Manx community:
