Insufficient marshal cover available, organisers say
The Ramsey stage (stages five & six) of this year's Chris Kelly Memorial Manx Stages has been cancelled.
Organisers say the stage - which was due to take place this Friday (30 September) - has had to be called off due to safety issues.
Officials add there is an insufficient number of marshals available to safely manage the section - a minimum of 22 are required.
Manx Auto Sport is thanking Ramsey Town Commissioners and local businesses for supporting the concept.
The rest of the event - running across Friday and Saturday (30 September-1 October) - is currently due to take place as normal.
Signing on sessions for volunteers will still take place on Wednesday and Thursday (28-29 September) at the Hailwood Centre at the TT Grandstand on Glencrutchery Road.
