Ramsey book spot in final

Ramsey squeezed past Vagabonds B 15-14 in the semi final of the Shimmin Wilson Manx Trophy at Glencrutchery Road.

A tense affair was goalless at half time before exploding into life in the second half.

Andy Wilson and Tynan Pritchard both picked up tries for Ramsey with skipper Pritchard also kicking a penalty and a conversion.

James Clark hit back with a try for Vagas but they fell just short.

Ramsey meet Southern Nomads in next weekend’s final.

Ramsey’s second team were also in action in a friendly against visiting Dudley Kingswinford.

Despite a solo performance by Scott Harding who scored all Ramsey’s points with two tries and a conversion, the visitors ran out 36-12 winners.
