Emerging Nomads win in Manx Shield
Ramsey put Creighton to the sword to advance into the quarter finals of the RFU Junior Vase.
The northerners ran out 66-3 winners in Carlisle.
Ramsey led 25-3 at half-time but put in a big second half performance to run away with the game.
Dan Bonwick and Ethan Benjamin picked up two tries apiece with supporting scores from Ally Trace, Jamie Arniel, Matty Meechan, Fintan Cummins and a penalty try.
Bonwick also kicked three penalties and five conversions, finishing off with a 29 point personal haul.
Ramsey will face Leeds outfit Old Otliensians in two weeks time in the quarter finals.
Emerging Nomads defeated Ramsey B 46-0 at a muddy King William’s College to move into third place in the Shimmin Wilson Shield standings.
Nomads led 17-0 at the break after tries from Ally Kelly, Dave Prince and Jake Harding, plus one Prince conversion.
Kelly and Prince both struck again early in the second half to forge ahead and late scores from Steve McHugh, Orry Watterson and Josh Smith gave the result a nice gloss for Nomads, with Smith adding two conversions for good measure.
