Ramsey A took advantage of a postponement in Mixed Division One, to go top of the table. They beat Phoenix A 2-1, thanks to goals from Ben Curtis and Andy Burrows, with Connor Byrne hitting the reply. The match between reigning champions Valkyrs A and Bacchas B was postponed because Bacchas' Men are in action tomorrow, against Crewe, in the English Hockey Association Vase. Bacchas A v Valkyrs B was also postponed. In the other game in Mixed Division One, Falcons won 4-0 at Celts, with goals from Andrew Harding (2), Paul Kelly and Steven Crowe. And it could have been even worse for the Castletown side, if their goalkeeper, Sam Spooner, hadn't made a number of good saves.
In Mixed Division Two Saracens A had a fine 7-2 win over Ramsey Ravens, with goals from Steve Cottier (4), Ben Horan, Carly Singer and David Horan. Saxons were also in a free-scoring mood, hitting five without reply at home to Cammags. Ken Carney (2), Richard Gelder, Danny Kelly and Ian Dugua were the scorers. In the other game Valkyrs C defeated Harlequins 4-1.
In Mixed Division Three there were victories for Ramsey Rookies, Bacchas D and Ramsey Roadrunners, while the teams bagging the points in Division Four were Kestrals, Cosney and Vandals.
