Trace try seals victory
Ramsey's first foray into the RFU Vase was successful with a 17-5 win against Liverpool University on Saturday.
Jake Severs' try, converted by Harri Radford, gave them the lead before University hit back with a try at the other end.
A Radford penalty restored Ramsey’s lead and they held a 10-5 advantage at half-time.
A dour second half at Parkonians was finally lit up in the 73rd minute when Ali Trace intercepted and ran 80 metres to score under the posts.
Radford's conversion made the lead unassailable.
