Ramsey's treble triumph

Ramsey have completed the treble, beating St John's on Sunday to win the Standard Bank Tinker Cup.

It now sits proudly in their trophy cabinet alongside the Premiership trophy and the Blincoe Cup.

The Saints had a good start, the openers putting 52 on the board, but then disaster struck.

Ramsey broke through, taking a first wicket and the following nine fell for just a further 57 runs.

The main man behind the carnage was Ken Harding, who finished with 5-18.

Needing 110 to win, Ramsey lost an early wicket but Eddie Cleator and Ollie Webster cut loose, taking the total to 56 before Cleator was dismissed by Chris Hawke for 32.

Webster carried on with his lively innings and had rattled up 25 when he too fell to Hawke.

Then after a torrid start Rob Webber kept his head and guided his side through to a splendid six wicket victory.
