Fogarty's mark surpassed at Brno
Jonathan Rea has now won more races than any other rider in World Superbike history.
The Castletown resident won race one of the latest round in Brno, Czech Republic, on Saturday to break Carl Fogarty's 19-year-old record and take his total to 60 victories.
Rea has won the last three Superbike World Championships, and is on course to take an unprecedented fourth consecutive title.
He leads the standings by 81 points.
