Defending champion dominates round
Jonathan Rea has made a perfect start to the defence of his World Superbike crown.
The Castletown resident picked up the win in the second race of the opening round at Phillip Island, Australia, today, to add to his victory in yesterday's first race.
He'd edged Chaz Davies by just 0.063 seconds in that one, thanks to a move on the last corner.
Ducati rider Davies also provided the biggest challenge in the second race, but Rea again got the better of him.
