Marshal also injured during incident at Southern 100
A Southern 100 rider has been taken to hospital for further checks after an incident in this afternoon's Bushy's Brewery Lightweight Race.
It was the third red flag of the day.
The crash happened at Stadium on lap three; the rider is said to be 'okay' but has had to go to Nobles Hospital for assessment.
A marshal was also injured during the incident after being struck by a piece of debris however they were treated at the scene where they are remaining - with their daughter taking up their duties instead.
The race has been given a result with Rob Hodson being declared the winner with Davey Todd in second and Michael Sweeney in third.
Racing will continue this afternoon.
