Royal cruise into semi-finals

Douglas Royal completed their fixtures for the 2013 calendar year, signing off with a 6-0 win over Colby in the Warehouse Fitness Floodlit Cup.


Goals from Rebecca Cole (two) Donna Shimmin (two), Andrea Lace and Stephanie Hoogveld secured their place in the semi-finals.


In the league, Peel registered the biggest win of the day with an 8-0 victory over DHSOB.


A Nicola Naden hat-trick, a Maxine Smalley double and goals from Kayleigh Greggor, Vanessa Christian and Bernadette Dunn sealed the points for the westerners.


Gymns were 4-0 winners over Castletown at Tromode.


A treble from Eleanor Gawne and one from Kayleigh Whitehead settled the contest.
