Douglas Royal went on the rampage on Saturday to edge closer to the CFS Division Two title.
They destroyed Malew 10-2 at Noble’s Park after a first half Royal rout.
They hit nine in the opening half before easing off in the second period.
A hat-trick from Dave Skillen, two apiece from Mike Walker and Dean Gough and one each from Jamie Carr, Gavin Gawne and Mark Dunn did the damage.
John Mitchell and Daniel Furwell scored second half consolations for Malew although their day was summed up when Furwell was taken to hospital with a suspected broken foot.
