
Braddan too strong for Town
Douglas Royal and Braddan have shown their credentials again in JCK Division Two.
Royal continued their impressive form and stayed top with a 4-3 victory over Ramsey Youth Centre on Saturday.
Doubles from Paul Whitley and John Quirk fired them to a thrilling victory, despite them playing around an hour with 10 men following the dismissal of Greg Hoskisson.
Braddan completed a league double over Castletown with style.
Conor Dempsey (two) (who was later sent-off), Andy Glover and Jamie Spicer were on target in a 4-0 success.
Foxdale maintained their promotion push with a 6-1 triumph at Malew.
Jack Smith (two), Aaron Costain, Charlie Harrison, Kevin Pullman and Scott Kermeen were the marksmen.
The in-form Stuart Morris grabbed a hat-trick as Marown ran out 5-2 winners over battling Governor’s Athletic.
