Manx side suffered late heartbreak last week
Douglas RUFC are back on the road again this weekend hoping to pick up their first win of the new season.
The Manx side travel to Winters Park in Cumbria to take on Penrith this Saturday (11 September) with the game getting underway from 1.30pm.
Douglas suffered overtime heartbreak last weekend in Lancaster, suffering a narrow 24-20 defeat against Vale of Lune at Powderhouse Lane.
Meanwhile, the Island team's opponents tomorrow went down 44-10 at Stockport last weekend (4 September).
However, the Douglas side aren't taking anything for granted and are expecting the Cumbrians to offer a stern test.
In terms of the Douglas squad, there's an injury question mark over Seth Waterworth, who partnered Blake Snell in the second-row last week.
The availability of Harry Raven and Craig McGee is also understood to be hanging in the balance.
Elsewhere, Paul Leivers, Simon Hoddinott and Liam Kirkpatrick make up the long-term unavailability list.
However, Aaron Mason, Owen Carvin and Nathan Hinks passed a front-row initiation with flying colours in Lancashire last week.
Charlie Henthorn stepped up seamlessly having shone for the Celts in recent seasons, and Sam Games and Carl Markl-Ferns may come back in to add yet more pace to for the forwards.
Luke Hyland, Harry Hewson and Max Morley-Green will look for open prairie to test the home defence with the pace of Craig and Kyle Martin out wide.
Finally, should Bryn Snellgrove be available at Number 10 for Saturday's clash, the club says 'anything is possible'.
