Sale suffered tough afternoon
Former Isle of Man rugby player Patreece Bell made a second appearance for Sale Sharks on Saturday (1 March) in the Premiership Rugby Cup.
Bell was selected in the 'Sharks' XV again after impressing in the 19-17 round six victory over Newcastle Falcons.
The 20-year-old started as a prop but was replaced in the 54th minute.
Unfortunately for the former Southern Nomads player though the Salford based side were knocked out of the cup at the weekend with a heavy 50-14 loss to Exeter Chiefs in the quarter final.
Rodd was not in the side that lost to Exeter after coming off the bench to score a try against the 'Falcons' in the previous game.
Sale Sharks are next in action in the Gallagher Premiership against Newcastle Falcons on 21 March following the conclusion of the Six Nations.
