National side back in action at Allianz Stadium later this month
Former Island rugby player Bevan Rodd has been called up to the England training squad ahead of the team's next clash later this month.
The Sale Sharks star is one of 20 forwards selected in Steve Borthwick's 36-strong training team which is undertaking a four-day training camp.
It's part of preparation for England's upcoming tie against France at the Allianz Stadium on Saturday, 21 June.
Furthermore, Rodd is the only Sharks player selected amongst the forwards.
Elsewhere, five of his teammates - Joe Carpenter, George Ford, Rekeiti Ma'asi-White, Raffi Quirke and Tom Roebuck - are also in the training squad as part of the backs.
