Men's squad hoping to learn from challenging previous season
Members of Vagabonds Rugby Club men's squad are feeling optimistic about what they can achieve in 2025/26.
The Douglas-based side had a tough campaign in Counties 3 ADM Lancashire/Cheshire last season, finishing 11th out of 12 clubs in the division.
However, Vagabonds coach Franzy Germuishys and player, Daniel Bonwick say there were positives such as seeing newer players work their way into this level of the game.
Looking ahead, one of their main goals this time is to better their league position:
Vagabonds' new Counties 3 ADM Lancashire/Cheshire season gets underway on Saturday, 6 September away at Burnley.
Elsewhere, they'll be one of two Manx sides in the division this season with Ramsey rejoining the English league system for the first time in five years.
Both Vagabonds and Ramsey are first due to meet in the league on Saturday, 29 November at Mooragh Park.
