Rugby: Vagabonds Ladies quartet in Cheshire squad this weekend

Island players in team to face Durham on Sunday (17 May)

Four Isle of Man rugby players have been selected to represent the Cheshire county squad this weekend.

Vagabonds Ladies competitors Maisie Murray, Freya Crowe, Becka Hicks and Leona McGovern will feature in the team which will take on Durham at 2pm tomorrow (17 May).

The Cheshire starting lineup has also been confirmed with both Murray and Crowe named in the starting 15 whilst Hicks and McGovern will start the game from the bench.

All four Island players have been training with the county side for several weeks and have featured regularly for Vagabonds Ladies during the latest Women's NC2 North (South) campaign in which the Manx club finished fourth.

Sunday's match between Durham and Cheshire will take place at Ryton RUFC in Ryton, County Durham.
