Island side had strong previous campaign in Counties 4 ADM Lancs/Cheshire
Vagabonds Rugby Club is 'looking to compete with the best' once again in Counties 4 ADM Lancs/Cheshire this coming season.
That's according to squad member Daniel Bonwick as the team's pre-season camp is underway ahead of the new campaign.
Having been relegated the season before last, the Island side impressed in the league throughout 2023/24 winning nine of their 14 games to finish third on 45 points.
They were only bested by eventual champions Colne & Nelson whilst 'Vagas' managed a league double over Ashton-under-Lyne who finished just above them in second.
As well as feeling confident on what the squad can achieve in 2024/25, Bonwick says it's also been encouraging to see 'lots of new faces' joining the club and taking up the sport:
Football: Peel crowned women's league champions
Cricket: Squad announced for men's T20 series against Guernsey
League Two's Shrewsbury Town among visitors for Summer Festival of Football
Isle of Man chasing Commonwealth Games basketball dream
