Tribute to father Tony
It will be a case of like father, like son for Michael Rutter at the Classic T.T..
The four-time T.T. winner will ride an F1 Ducati which is identical to the machine his father Tony rode in the 1984 T.T. and Formula One World Championship.
In the Motorsport Merchandise Formula One Classic T.T. race, Michael will run the bike in the same livery used by his dad, complete with matching helmet and leathers.
Rutter is also riding Ripley Land machinery in the 350cc and 500cc races.
He says a nod to T.T. history is one of the main ingredients behind the success of the Classic T.T.:
