European nations and USA among those to be represented this year
The Southern 100 Club is being encouraged by the number of overseas riders due to take part in the Southern 100 Road Races in a couple of weeks' time.
The meeting's promoters have confirmed that among them will be Finnish TT competitor Erno Kostamo whilst Belgian Jean Pierre Colet and French riders Amalric Blanc and Cedric Assouvie will be among those to contest the solo classes.
Also due to make the journey are two more competitors from the USA in David Thomas and Israel Gillette as well as Canadian Logan Barker, also in the solos.
Elsewhere, it's already been confirmed to french sidecar crews - Eric Lenser & Anais Rosset as well as Steveens Palacoeur & Yann Druel - are making their maiden appearance along with fellow Frenchman and TT competitor Kevin Rousseau who will passenger for 2012 sidecar champion Ben Birchall.
The club says it 'always welcomes our continental competitors and hope they have an enjoyable and fast Southern 100 2024.'
This year's Southern 100 Road Races are scheduled to take place on the Billown Course from 8-11 July.
