Eight out of eight for Douglas
Douglas’ Sam Randle ran in four tries as Douglas cruised to a bonus point win at home against Bowdon.
The South Lancashire/Cheshire Division One game was much tighter early on with Douglas leading 17-5 at the break.
That was thanks to a try from Craig McGee, sandwiched between a Randle brace, with Will Cain assuming kicking duties and converting one of the three tries.
Bowdon clawed their way a little closer in the second half but two more Randle tries and a couple of Cain penalties closed the door firmly to keep Douglas at the top of the division.
