Scaysbrook to make step up to 1000cc machines this year
Rennie Scaysbrook will return to the TT this year alongside Matthew Rees at Wilson Craig Racing, it's been announced.
Scaysbrook made his Snaefell Mountain Course debut in 2022 with the PRF Racing Team in the Supersport categories.
In 2023, he'll step up to the 1000cc classes in the Superbike, Superstock and Senior classes on a Honda Fireblade machine
The Australian has already made a name for himself in the USA as the current outright lap record holder in the famous Pikes Peak International Hill Climb which he also won in 2019.
Meanwhile, his teammate, Matthew Rees, will also take part in the 1000cc classes this year as well as the Supersport and Supertwin categories.
Wilson Craig Racing Team Owner, Darren Gilpin, says Rees, is a 'young but experienced guy who I think we've yet to see the best of.'
Gilpin adds that pre-season testing has been 'good so far' and that they're 'excited to get going'.
