Dunlop dominance continues at S100
The Southern 100 meeting at Billown provided record-breaking speeds on Wednesday night (12 July) with wins for Michael Dunlop, Ivan Lintin, Dean Harrison and the Birchall brothers.
Dunlop was in cracking form in the opening race of the night, the Senior. He averaged 114 mph on his 1000cc Suzuki, finishing ahead of BMW-mounted local man Dan Kneen, and Jamie Coward also on a BMW.
Ivan Lintin took the 250/650cc race, with James Cowton second and Rob Hodson third.
Dean Harrison took the 600cc race, from Cowton and Michael Dunlop.
Ben and Tom Birchall won the first sidecar race from John Holden and Lee Cain, with Wayne Lockie and Mark Sayers in third.
There are nine further races scheduled for today (13 July).
