Could Mann replace Menorca?
Organisers of the next-but-one NatWest Island Games are looking for a new host, after the chosen venue Menorca, pulled out.
The International Island Games Association was told of Menorca's decision at its AGM in Jersey last week, during this year's games.
The Isle of Man has already declared an interest in hosting the 2021 games, but it's possible a Manx bid could be made for the earlier event in 2019 instead.
Commentators in Jersey have suggested the Isle of Man is high on a shortlist of potential venues, which it's understood, must have hosted the event before.
The NatWest Island Games are held every two years, and the next event in 2017 will be in Gotland, a Swedish island in the Baltic Sea.
